Coco nutrients

Coco coir is a growing media that tends to be very airy yet able to retain a lot of water without drowning the plants. These characteristics allow for excellent root development and subsequently bigger and faster growing plants. Similar to soil coco coir insulates the roots, protecting them from temperature changes.  

However, where soil is a major source of nutrients, coco coir is inert: all nutrition must be administered as coco provide none. This gives you complete control of what nutrients your plants take up but you will have to be more diligent in your approach.

BAC Coco nutrients for optimal balance

Enter BAC’s Coco nutrients. Our product range consists of Coco Grow Nutrients and Coco Bloom Nutrients. Both have Coco A & B formulas – together they contain all the nutrients a plant requires. Among these are nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium as well as trace elements such as red chelate iron, which encourages the formation of new leaves. As some nutrients are more easily absorbed than others we have taken utmost care to create an optimal balance in our coco nutrients.  

Dosages vary from 15-35 ml per 10 litres of water in the vegetative growth stage to 30-50 ml during the flowering stage.  For more detailed information about Coco A & B dosages, we refer to our coco and hydro nutrition schedule.
